Example Of How Fractional Ownership Works
Here on this page you will find an example of how Fractional Ownership works and how easy and affordable it is to part own a beautiful property on the Island of Crete.
Imagine if you will that there are six people in the Fractional Ownership Scheme which includes yourself, you have all invested 25,000 Euros into the scheme. Now with the combined scheme members investments you have the spending power of 150,000 Euros. You all decide to buy a 2 bedroom villa on the island of Crete and it costs you 150,000 Euros (25,000 Euros each) each of you use the villa for one month in the summer and one month in the winter. However because the chances are you will not want to use the whole 2 months for holiday's you could rent out the villa for part of those 2 months.
Example:
You rent out the 2 bedroom villa for an average of 450,00 Euros a week, which means if you rent it out for 3 weeks a year you receive a profit of 1,350 Euros less low local taxes and other costs which would give you a clear profit of 1,000 Euros a year. You will also have use of the property for at least a month for holidays for you and your family. This is just an example you could of course rent it out for a longer period or shorter whatever you would want to do. Because you own 1/6 of the property you are well in your rights to sell your share if you decide to do so (with profits). In time you as a group may decide to sell the property which means of course you get your 25,000 investment back with profits which could be substantial, depending on property, location and property prices at time of selling.
